As a part of our community service we recruit school leavers to train with us in community- banking operations, IT and community services in a modern office environment. The training program lasts for six months and at a time 3- 4 youngsters are recruited as trainees. Trainees receive a small stipend during training period. This program was introduced in 2004 and we have trained more than 100 youngsters since then. Those who successfully complete the training are awarded 'certificates of attendance' and are given priority in recruiting for staff when vacancies occur.
